Korean SW Companies’ Vigorous Debut into Japanese IT Market
Korean software companies are gaining momentum in Japanese IT Market.
Last 17th, it was reported that ‘Ubitizn,’ a developing venture company specialized in document software concluded a license contract for its documentation solution ‘Genieware Concept map’ with ‘Just System Japan’, while a Reporting S/W company, ‘M2Soft,’ signed a contract to supply Honda Automobile and its 16 branches worldwide with its reporting server product.
Also, ‘Ion Communications,’ a Contents Managing System company increased its sales in Japanese CMS market through ‘Ion Japan,’ a Japanese company.
‘Itplus,’ an IT solution company, mounted a vigorous marketing campaign for the sales of its in-house developed solution in Japan. The company was about to enter into a new contract with a leading Japanese electronic company, ‘M,’ after it supplied a Change Management Solution, ‘Change Minor,’ to the largest Japanese SI Company, NTT Data, in the middle of Last year.
“It was a great deal that a Korean made documentation solution made its way to Japanese market exhibiting somewhat chauvinistic propensity.” said Byan Gi –Ho, CEO of Ubitiizn, “And we would strongly implement a dualistic global market strategy aiming at both Japan and US markets.”
