RD101 - Basic RD Course  
Class Outline Enabling users to create a basic report form in connection  with DB through mastering basic tool usages
Training Period One day with a trainer
Intended Trainees Novice users who have no previous experience with Report Designer and are in charge of the generation and circulation of reports
Pre-requisites Ability to use Windows OS
Ability to use Generic Word processor
Basic Knowledge on SQL

Basic Usage Training

1. Data connection methodology and basic skill for report creation
     Form Design
     Data Definition (Defining DB connection method and query)
     Data mapping methods
     Report editing method (Built-in functions & menu usages)

2. Basic understanding on File connected Form File
     File connection & File definition
     Web integration of report forms in connection with file
     Understanding of file connected report¡¯s Reporting System Architecture


3. Basic understanding of Web integrated report
     Understanding of basic sample report (Basic understanding of OCX)
     Web GUI interface design (Basic interface usage)
     Web GUI interface design (User defined interface usage)


4.Basic understanding of Reporting System Architecture

5. Integration with 4GL tools (VB, Delphi, PowerBuilder& etc.)
     Integration by means of OCX
     Integration by using Shell

 
RD102 - Intermediate RD User Course
Class Outline  Enabling users to create irregular format, complex reports by understanding basic tool usages and SQL
Training Period One day with a trainer
Intended Trainees Intermediate users who have finished RD 101 course and are in charge of the generation and circulation of various, irregular format reports
 Pre-requisites RD 101 Course
Intermediate Knowledge on SQL
 
Detailed Training Objectives

1. Familiarizing with basic sample report form and the concept of a Project  in Report Designer
    Familiarizing with the composition and application methods of Example files provided with Report Designer

2. Form Design of a General Form
    Image data processing (DB stored images, file stored images)
    Introduction to the functionalities of Inner Cell Line & Text Frame property


3. Form Design of a Table Form
    Understanding dynamic query and related parameters
    Multi-level setting of a table, creating matrix table/ designation of group
    Plural / multiple query processing functionality by using SubPage
    Cross Tab Table, Chart, Contents Tree, Hyperlink functionalities


4. Form Design of a Label Form
    Label Form Creation and inserting Bar Code

5. Designing a Fixed Form
    Script usage, creating a General Form type report with Script
    Creating a Table Form type report with Script
    Creating a Chart with Scrip


6. Designing an XML based report
     Method for defining XML Data and report generation 
 
RD201 - RD Server Operator Course
Class Outline  Regular installation of the Server Module and, operating and administrating it to its optimum performance
Training Period One day with a trainer
Intended Trainees  Those who are in charge of the operation and administration of the RD Reporting Server
Pre-requisites Basic knowledge on system operation and administration
Note) JDK1.3 & Servelet Engine (Tomcate recommended) should be installed on all trainees¡¯ computers in order to facilitate the preparation process
